Single, Over 60, Interested In Starting A Dating Relationship? Know Someone Who is? This Could Be A Game Changer!

I have a lot of single friends, both men and women, who are over 60. Believe it or not, for most of them, "getting married" is not on their bucket list. However, having a friend to eat out with, go to a movie, concert, or exercise with would be a real joy. If that describes you, you are probably already aware that there are a lot of moochers, users, and scammers, both men and women, out there looking to take advantage of you financially. If that is the case, I have some good news. There is finally a common-sense dating app designed to build trust and reduce stress. It's called "Score." It's a dating app that starts with sharing your credit score. As wild as it seems, there is more to it than getting you to buy their app. According to research by the Federal Reserve, people with high credit scores are more likely to start a serious and lasting relationship. STOP! I am not saying go and buy the app. I am saying the idea behind the app should be seriously considered.

Are there really baby boomers (ages 60-78) out there in such a financial mess that they would date someone in order to mooch off of them? Are there older men and women who would go so far as to date or even marry only for financial security? Yes! I have four close friends and many acquaintances over 60 who have been taken advantage of for thousands of dollars before they realized what was going on.

Let's be honest: A major concern when retiring is having enough money to live a good life and remain physically independent for as long as we live.. With that in mind, remember: Debt defines your future; if you enter a relationship with someone in debt, you are committing your future to paying for their past mistakes.

Contrary to what many believe, money is NOT the root of all evil; however, mismanaging it can create havoc and stress in any relationship. If you are even thinking about starting a dating relationship (or know someone who is), the SECOND QUESTION that needs to be worked into one of the first conversations is, "Do you pay all your bills on time?"

So, whether you are twenty or seventy, if you plan on starting a dating relationship with someone, a good conversation to have with them might start with "What is your credit score?"

In case you don't know what the FIRST QUESTION should be: "Do you have a real and working relationship with God?"
